About the role
- Serves as the subject matter expert for production equipment maintenance in assigned area
- Prepares and conducts training for maintenance technicians on maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of critical production assets
- Provides technical guidance and assistance to maintenance technicians in resolving production equipment issues
- Prepares and reviews training documents, custom equipment documents, tip sheets, etc.
- Serves as primary technical interface for production equipment maintenance and partners with stakeholders
- Assist with acquiring, modifying, supporting and disposing of major custom equipment
- Researches, interprets and applies codes, regulations and standards
- Creates project management plans and executes multiple projects to plan
- Initiates and performs continuous improvement activities, root cause analysis, rapid system problem solving
- Responds to non-routine maintenance/operator questions related to assets
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience using a CMMS
- 5+ years of experience with automation systems maintenance, robotics systems, and various types of equipment controllers
- 5+ years of experience troubleshooting and operating PLCs
- 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance
- 5+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- 5+ years of experience using MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel at a minimum)
- 5+ years of experience in a customer facing role
