About the role
- Serve as Scrum Master for one or more cross-functional Agile teams focused on digital commerce products (e.g., e‑commerce platforms, checkout, payment integrations, personalization, CMS, or marketplaces)
- Coach teams in Agile and Lean principles, Scrum practices, and SAFe ceremonies (PI planning, System Demo, Inspect & Adapt)
- Facilitate Agile events: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and PI-related activities
- Remove impediments and resolve team-level and organizational dependencies to maintain predictable delivery
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Product Managers, Release Train Engineers, architects, and engineering leads to align priorities and refine the backlog
- Track and communicate team metrics (velocity, predictability, flow, cycle time) to drive continuous improvement
- Foster a culture of psychological safety, continuous learning, and experimentation, coach teams on technical and DevOps best practices where applicable
- Support cross-team coordination and integration work across the ART (Agile Release Train) or portfolio
- Ensure quality and delivery of commerce features by working with QA, UX, security, and operations teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Contribute to Agile transformation efforts, training, and community-of-practice activities
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master (or related Agile role) in software delivery
- SAFe experience: participating in and facilitating PI planning, ART ceremonies, and SAFe practices
- Experience working in the digital commerce space (e‑commerce platforms, payment systems, order management, personalization, or related domains)
- Experience in facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with Agile tooling (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally) and metrics/reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or SAFe Practitioner (SPC) certification, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)/Professional Scrum Master (PSM)
- SAFe and/or Scrum certification preferred (e.g., SAFe SSM/SSP, CSM, PSM)
