About the role

  • Facilitation and leadership in team process improvement initiatives
  • Assist in cleaning up technical debt
  • Coordinate meeting/agenda including action tracking
  • Generation and refinement of software integration metrics
  • Ensure engineering and operations processes function properly to allow production users to perform daily tasks with minimal interruption
  • Develop, document, implement, and ensure compliance with requirements for engineering tools, processes, and standards
  • Lead Lean initiatives and drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost across multiple programs
  • Support execution of Software Quality Management Plan
  • Generate data to support the Cost Account Managers (CAMs) via the Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
  • Support Meetings ex: Major design milestone reviews, aircrew training, etc.
  • Facilities maintenance requests/escorting (Maximo tickets): Enter tickets for all things related to facilities
  • Escort maintenance team to perform work order
  • Closely coordinate with New Hire Team to participate in onboarding of new employees

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience with engineering concepts, processes, and methods
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools such as: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or equivalent experience strongly preferred
  • Six Sigma Black Belt, Green Belt or Lean Master Certification preferred
  • Knowledge of Total Quality Management (TQM) and Change Management experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with Windows-based software
