About the role
- Manage a Team of Procurement Agents, driving timely and compliant responses to supplier and program stakeholders.
- Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier-related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
- Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
- 5+ years of experience leading negotiations with standard terms and conditions; including payment terms
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
- 5+ years leading direct reports or a team
