About the role

  • Manage managers of engineering teams performing technical activities in the area of integration of safety processes across multiple functional teams
  • Develop and maintain relationships with BCA Program, Enterprise Safety, SMS, and functional team leaders as well as collaborate with regulators
  • Create and maintain a culture of communication and collaboration with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Promote talent acquisition and retention within the team by ensuring career development of direct reports
  • Establish and implement integrated team plans to ensure business, technical and customer requirements are achieved

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 5+ years of experience in an engineering role
  • 2+ years of experience in an engineering management role
  • 2+ years of experience in leadership formally or informally leading teams in a cross-functional environment with aviation stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Schedule flexibility for coordination with a globally distributed team
