Develop and author the Concept of Operations, capturing stakeholder objectives, operational scenarios, system context, interfaces, assumptions, and success criteria
Define requirements, design and verification activities from Concept of Operations
Develop system architecture and provide logical and functional solutions during system development
Take full ownership of ensuring the delivery of system requirements, safety assessments, and certification artifacts with high quality
Collaborate with engineering teams to define requirements for safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human factors, security, certification, and product assurance
Review and approve system requirements, safety assessments, certification documents, FHA, FDAL, SSA, qualification test plans, and procedures
Lead Program Stage Reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR deliverables ensuring compliance
Analyze prototype implementations, document high-level functionality, and communicate findings to stakeholders to inform design, requirements, and verification activities
Perform hardware and software integration, review and approve detailed test procedures (DTP and traceability) for system-level requirements, and support software/hardware teams during functional testing
Ensure compliance with ARP4754, 4761, DO254, DO178, DO160 and ARINC 812 standards
Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders
Participate in cross-functional reviews and provide technical solutions
Work with Certification / Engineering Unit Members (E-UM) to incorporate feedback on the systems process documents
Participate in Development Assurance Reviews (DARs) and Process Assurance Reviews (PARs) and demonstrate compliance
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Aerospace, or related field) or higher
13+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test within Safety-Critical or Aerospace domains
Proficient in aircraft Cabin and Galley Systems
Strong understanding of airplane and cabin system functioning and their integration with other systems
Extensive experience in design, development, integration, and certification of Cabin Systems, Payloads and Galleys
Proficient in developing, reviewing, and approving comprehensive system planning documents (Aspects of Certification, Development Plan, Verification Plan, Process Assurance Plan, Configuration Management Plan, Qualification Test Plan, Certification Plan)
Expertise in ARP4754, 4761, DO254, DO178 and DO160 standards
Proven track record in managing system requirements, interfaces, and testing
Experience in developing and authoring Concept of Operations documents
Experience in developing system architecture and providing logical and functional solutions
Ability to review and approve system requirements, safety assessments (FHA, FDAL, SSA) certification artifacts, and test plans
Experience in test planning, setup, test development, execution, conducting tests in a lab, production environment and environmental qualification testing
Experience leading Program Gate Reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR)
Expertise on Requirements Management tools like IBM Rational DOORS
Perform automation and improve efficiency
Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Proficient in project planning, estimation, and work breakdown structure (WBS) creation
Experience mentoring and leading team
Strong verbal and written communication skills
INCOSE certification on Systems Engineering is an added advantage
Master’s degree in Engineering with 12+ years of relevant experience is acceptable
