About the role

  • Apply industrial engineering concepts, approaches and techniques to products, processes and services
  • Support the development of plant and equipment layouts, capacity plans, accident prevention measures, sequencing of operations and work flows
  • Participate in the evaluation of new techniques and technological developments for integration into the production process and service operations
  • Assist with designing, maintaining, and optimizing the production system by integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel
  • Conduct basic work flow design and analysis
  • Develop simple models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data and provide summary analysis and metrics for consultation to leaders
  • Support research, design, develop, improve, and implementation of processes and tools to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality for large scale systems integration and asset utilization
  • Support implementation plans and programs for facility/factory modifications and revisions to operating methods
  • Document product assembly instructions and standardize assembly practices
  • Support the preparation of operations plans, includes work statement analysis, budgeting and forecasts, capacity and constraint analysis and production change
  • Follow compliance requirements with established industry safety, design standards and ergonomic guidelines

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, and/or a production environment (Preferred)
  • Exposure to working in a team environment (Preferred)
  • Exposure or application of Lean Manufacturing with knowledge of lean principles (Preferred)
  • Exposure or application of Project Management skills (Preferred)
