About the role
- Lead and coordinate technical execution for Operational Flight Program (OFP) software teams
- Manage the software development lifecycle and ensure fielded software meets performance, safety, and schedule requirements
- Own Cost Account Management (CAM) for assigned software work
- Monitor earned value performance and deliver objective forecasts
- Maintain and defend the performance measurement baseline by collecting timely cost and schedule data
- Identify root causes for variances and drive corrective actions
- Keep leadership and stakeholders informed
- Collaborate closely with systems engineering, test, QA, and supply chain
- Mentor early-career engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and technical rigor
Requirements
- Experience as a Cost Account Manager (CAM)
- 1+ years of Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
- 5+ years of experience in product development
- 5+ years of experience in program management, project management, engineering, and/or training services
- 3+ years using Excel to perform data analysis
- 3+ years editing PDF and Word files
- Experience using agile methodology
- Understanding of business value related to features and functions
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
