About the role
- Lead technical integration and program management across product development seat programs supporting the 737, 777, and 787 models.
- Develop integrated plans, establish and lead teams, and monitor technical developments throughout customer introduction programs.
- Manage risks and opportunities while supporting cross-functional and cross-Integrated Product Team issues.
- Oversee cross-functional technical integration, certification, and project management to resolve complex issues and mitigate risks across a diverse portfolio of products.
- Communicate routinely with internal and external customers, including peers, stakeholders, senior and executive leadership, airline customers, regulators, and suppliers.
- Lead projects across interiors engineering, certification, electrical engineering, stress, software engineering, and supply chain, leveraging a strong understanding of integration between functions to drive detailed technical project plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 10+ years experience performing complex engineering or system integration work
- 7+ years experience in leading and/or managing complex projects
- 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers and business partners
- 9+ years experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with certification, product development, and/or seats is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience with U.S. and/or foreign aircraft certification/regulatory processes.
- Strong communication skills and a self-starter who takes initiative without supervision.
- Certification background and/or experience working with FAA regulations and Regulatory Administration.
- Project Management exposure/experience (e.g., PMBOK, ANSI/PMI 99-001-2008).
