About the role
- Partner with internal Boeing and military customers to define operational problems and success metrics
- Perform competitor assessments across helicopter / UAS markets and deliver to business developers
- Perform Capability Based Assessments (CBA) and cost effectiveness analysis
- Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) and Trade Studies for Design and Sub-Systems Support requirements
- Perform sensitivity, scenario, and uncertainty analyses to quantify risks and tradeoffs
- Perform survivability analysis
- Communicate technical results and recommended actions to non-technical stakeholders through reports, visualizations, and presentations
- Contribute to cross-functional projects, sharing best practices and mentoring engineers and business developers outside the group
- Identify opportunities for evolutionary or revolutionary product concepts by predicting future customer requirements through operations analyses and development of high-level models associated with operational scenarios when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications
- 5+ years of military operational experience as a rated rotary wing aviator
- Service in an Apache attack Helicopter Battalion or Air Cavalry Squadron is desired
- Experience working with engineering / integrated product teams to resolve issues and integrate solutions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
