About the role
- Assists with the review, development and implementation of interpersonal plans
- Assists with the analysis of internal and external practices
- Prepares and maintains trend analysis reports on Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) program performance data
- Supplies to recommendations for new or revised programs
- Assists in the development and coordination of policies, processes and services with internal organizations
- Follows the record-keeping process for collecting and maintaining records of occupational injuries and illnesses in accordance with U.S. recordkeeping requirements
- Processes information received from Disability Management Representatives
- Applies OSHA exceptions to ensure accurate recordkeeping
- Ensures all time loss and restricted days are recorded in accordance with regulations and internal legal mentorship
- Participates in meetings to review injury cases that require further investigation
- Applies company recordkeeping system to accurately reflect details of injury, lost/restricted time, etc.
- Collaborates with team members to meet annual OSHA Log posting requirements
- Stays in sync with records and data management practices
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience communicating effectively with multiple levels of an organization
- Experience with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Recordkeeping policies, practices, laws and regulations
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
