Support senior engineers in designing, fine-tuning, and implementing large language models for specific applications
Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets to ensure high quality for model training and evaluation
Design and optimize prompts to improve model performance and efficiency for various tasks
Conduct model evaluations, analyze results, and perform testing and debugging of AI systems to identify strengths and weaknesses
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Python code, adhering to software engineering best practices
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, system engineers, and other software engineers, to integrate AI solutions into various programs
Create clear and thorough documentation for code, models, and evaluation processes
Stay forefront in natural language processing and generative AI to recommend and implement state-of-the-art solutions or innovative solutions

Requirements

1+ years of experience designing and developing software using Python, C/C++, or Java
1+ years of experience working with backend development and/or cloud environments
Bachelor degree from an accredited course of study in computer science, data science, mathematics, engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, or physics (preferred)
Level 2: 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
Level 3: 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
Experience with full software development lifecycle as part of the agile team (preferred)
Proficient in C++ / python / Java (preferred)
Experience with Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, etc.), Linux, backend, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) (preferred)
Experience with modern microservices architecture, implementation, and operations (preferred)
Experience with relational database and AI/ML techniques (preferred)
Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLM) (preferred)
