About the role
- Lead the systems engineering efforts on new development, production, and/or sustainment programs.
- Translate customer and operational needs into system performance requirements.
- Guide cross-functional teams to define and maintain system requirements.
- Perform analyses in affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, and security.
- Run design reviews and technical assessments.
- Maintain and improve requirements management processes.
- Mentor, coach and advise engineers across the program.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications.
- 4 or more years' related engineering experience.
- Prior Systems Engineering experience (i.e. system design, functional decomposition, requirements development, analysis, verification, and validation).
- 7 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Level 4).
- Active U.S. Security Clearance.
- Leadership experience in engineering roles.
- Experience with Aircraft and Weapon System development.
- Experience leading cross-IPT architecture development.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools.
