About the role

  • Supports definition of requirements for propulsion system components used in vehicle cryogenic fuel / oxidizer, bi-prop / mono-prop, pneumatic, hydraulic or pyrotechnic systems
  • Supports definitions, coordination and control of the functional and physical interfaces between the components within the propulsion system
  • Supports development and maintenance of envelope drawings (EDs) / component specifications for associated vehicle components
  • Supports design of propulsion components to meet all subsystem design and performance criteria
  • Supports fielded components to assure continued reliability and airworthiness
  • Supports execution of technical interchange meetings and component reviews

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 1+ years of experience in rocket propulsion
  • 1+ years of experience with propulsion system components, interfaces and their design/integration variables, within aerospace vehicles
  • 1+ years of experience with propulsion system design/integration
