About the role
- Analyze problems (troubleshooting, fault isolation, repair, modification, or redesign) of assigned end items to support the design, development and modification of company products using knowledge of engineering disciplines (ME, EE, etc.)
- Perform or review engineering analysis (e.g. mechanical, electrical, avionics, design, circuit, systems, stress, structural, durability)
- Derive and allocate requirements (e.g., system, sub-system, software) and show traceability throughout the product lifecycle using both historical data and modern tools
- Determine functional decomposition based on current design solutions
- Develop trade studies and trade spaces for technical solutions with quantifiable scoring criteria and justifications
- Develop Interface control drawings and electrical interface diagrams based on current hardware and incomplete documentation
- Develop test procedures, plans, and artifacts
- Develop contract deliverables in accordance with statement of work
- Provide peer review and expertise on technical deliverables
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- Associate, Level 2: typically, 2 or more years' related work experience in an engineering role or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications
- Experienced, Level 3: typically, 5 or more years' related work experience in an engineering role or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications
- Previous ICBM Experience in ground systems, Launch support, or encryption
- Previous command and control experience
- Software systems and software/hardware integration
- Previous CCOS and WMAP experience
- MBSE certifications or MBSE practical experience
- Systems engineering certifications (INCOSE ASE, CSE etc..)
