About the role
- Supports large scale program software quality engineering processes, resources and infrastructure
- Works on process improvement activities and supports development of organization policies, procedures, infrastructure and metrics to support business objectives
- Prepares and presents information at formal review meetings
- Leads Review and approve of software life cycle documents and program products
- Plans and leads initial baseline internal or supplier, large complex audits of software engineering processes and associated support functions
- Participate in configuration management activities
- Reviews deviations and waivers to the software baseline
- Plans software quality test activities and completion of test readiness activities.
- Ensures integrity of the test process
- Verifies test results
- Works with regulatory agencies and other functions to develop criteria and procedures for software delivery activities
- Leads final reconciliation of complex software data products
- Develops program specific software quality requirements for flow down to suppliers
- Plans and verifies of supplier's software quality systems and programs
- Perform software acceptance and delivery activities
- Analyzes data to identify trends in non-compliances and initiates system level corrective and preventive actions
- Identifies non-conformances and issues corrective action
- Reports non-conformance and corrective action data to appropriate management
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience with Software Development lifecycle (including Requirements Analysis, Design, Code, Integration & Test)
- 1+ years of experience in a Regulated Environmental Quality Management System (like ISO9001, AS91001, DO-178C)
- Experience with DevSecOps and associated tools
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
