About the role
- Install, configure and help maintain multi-platform (i.e. Windows, Linux) systems hardware, software and components
- Perform the troubleshooting and restoration of routine service operations (backups/restores, networking, and domain-related functions)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, security, operations, and product teams, to ensure security is embedded in all phases of the application lifecycle
- Integrate and configure security solutions (McAfee, Splunk, HBSS) into information systems
- Participate in the planning and execution of upgrades and patches for operating systems and software
- Participate in developing training guides, knowledge management articles, and processes and procedures
- Automate tasks utilizing Bash, PowerShell, and/or other platforms
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting Windows operating systems (Windows 10/ server 2012 or greater)
- 3+ years of experience using PowerShell, Bash, and Python
- 3+ years of experience with maintaining and configuring Active Directory (AD)
- 1+ years of experience with Ansible, Chef, or other automation/configuration management tools
- 1+ years of experience with Linux Operating Systems - RHEL 7 and newer
- Experience with VMware or other virtualization technologies
- Experience with McAfee ePO configuration and management
- Experience with networking fundamentals
