About the role
- Lead and manage the SEIT organization for Sapphire, providing technical direction, staffing, mentoring, and performance oversight of SEIT engineers.
- Manage leaders across requirements, architecture, interfaces, and test to develop, maintain, and execute the SEIT verification & validation strategy, test plans, and verification matrices that demonstrate milestone readiness.
- Manage a System Requirements team to develop system-level requirements; maintain end-to-end traceability across PDM, MES, ERP, and I&I.
- Manage a System Architecture team to coordinate system architecture allocations and verification planning with IDT&S and other enterprise stakeholders; ensure alignment to program architecture and security requirements.
- Manage a System Test team to plan and lead integration and system-level testing activities, including cross-IPT integration, ICD validation, smoke tests, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
- Collaborate with I&I IPT with business partners for interface and integrations SoW.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in systems engineering, integration, and test for complex enterprise or aerospace programs.
- Demonstrated experience leading SEIT teams, including managing engineers and mid-level managers across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of verification & validation practices, test planning/execution, defect lifecycle management, and configuration management.
- Experience with PLM/MES/ERP integrations, middleware, ICDs, and digital thread concepts strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with SEIT and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) toolchains.
