About the role
- Develop and maintain the overall test strategy, test plans, and test schedules
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of test engineers and QA specialists
- Coordinate test activities across engineering, product, systems, and integration teams
- Define test environments, tooling, automation strategy, and metrics for quality
- Oversee test execution: functional, integration, system, performance, regression, and acceptance testing
- Manage defective lifecycle and ensure timely resolution and risk mitigation
- Communicate test status, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders and leadership
- Ensure compliance with relevant processes, industry standards, and certification requirements
- Support release planning and readiness reviews
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in test management, quality assurance leadership, and/or equivalent roles
- Experience in test planning, execution, and test process improvement
- Experience with test automation frameworks, tools, and Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) integration
- Experience leading cross-functional teams while managing multiple priorities
- Experience with bug/issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail)
