About the role
- Work with internal and external customers to identify requirements and build plans to support their needs
- Track progress to cost, schedule, and technical performance using Boeing Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) and Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Support the development of customer proposals, including development of competitive pricing and delivery dates
- Engage regularly with supply chain leadership to monitor supplier quality and performance
- Resolve technical issues through coordination with engineering and the Chief Engineer
- Manage deliverables by defining plans for risk mitigation, issues, and opportunities; and monitoring baseline plans to assess project performance, productivity, and lessons learned
- Brief customers and leadership on program status; risks, issues, and opportunities; and help needed
- Standardize, develop, and document processes
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post-Start is required
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 3+ years experience leading or managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects teams
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
