About the role

  • Assist in planning and assessing program requirements
  • Integrate activities of other employees to accomplish program objectives
  • Manage scope of work for program activities and interaction with connected sites
  • Work on project management for multiple activities and prioritization
  • Identify resources needed for successful accomplishment
  • Work on Network Design, equipment procurement, configuration, installation
  • Ensure programs have a secure communications network
  • Support security activities such as US government Risk Management Framework (RMF) Compliance
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with customers and peers
  • Act as initial point of escalation for issues encountered by the team

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience with Cisco routers and switches & Cisco IOS implementations
  • 1+ years of experience with Design, Implementation and Troubleshooting of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)
  • 1+ years of experience utilizing Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) network protocols
  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
  • Experience with Palo Alto next generation firewall systems, network monitoring systems, and AAA/RADIUS/TACACS+
  • Experience with Encryptors
  • Experience with DNS/DHCP/IPAM
  • Department of Defense (DoD) 8570 certification (Security+ preferred)
  • CCNA, CCNP or other Cisco Certification
