About the role
- Manage team requests and assignment of work for completion
- Conduct weekly staff meetings with the team to build positive relationships and collaboration to accomplish work goals
- Apply information in a way that contributes to the organization’s strategic plan
- Utilize knowledge of procurement processes and procedures for effective interactions between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another
- Practice goal-directed thinking and actions for problem solving and strategic decision making
- Manager HR roles and responsibilities to assess team member performance for assigned work goals
- Provide guidance and feedback to help strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas needed to accomplish a task or solve a problem, and employee career development
- Participate in leadership discussions and strategic planning related to People development
- Use audit data and Procurement Agent feedback to implement improvements to procedures, training, guidance information, etc.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a supply chain or procurement-related role
- 5+ years of experience leading a cross functional team
- 5+ years of experience developing & maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior management, customers, stakeholders, peers and partners
- Experience using professional written and verbal communication skills to achieve deliverables
