About the role
- Designs, architects, and develops simulation models
- Partners with stakeholders to lead the review and identification of simulation requirements
- Performs design, modeling, simulation, testing, and analysis to assess overall system performance
- Validates, verifies, and refines simulation software code
- Documents and maintains technical code, algorithms, and specifications of simulation models
- Partners with cross-functional engineering teams for integration of simulation software
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in C/C++ programming
- 3+ years of experience in utilizing Linux and/or Windows operating systems
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 2+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Python
- 2+ years of experience using GitLab and/or Jira
- Knowledge of real-time software architecture and design methodologies
- Ability to build, integrate, test, and troubleshoot software components
- Knowledge of verification, validation, certification, and qualification processes.
- Ability to apply knowledge of 2D and/or 3D computer graphics
