About the role
- Keep safety and quality at the forefront of all activities
- Manage employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Mechanical & Structural Engineering
- Lead development of cabin and interior solutions for the Payloads and Flammability Engineering function in support of current and future commercial airplane products
- Provide oversight to complex projects; integrating multiple considerations including: suppliers, interfacing engineering teams, production system needs, regulations, and airline requirements
- Develop and execute project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals
- Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers and lead process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering
- 5+ years of experience in Aerospace Industry
- Experience with project management methodologies
- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects from conception to completion
