About the role
- Works with site maintenance personnel to analyze equipment issues, minimize repetitive downtime and improve availability
- Supports production readiness of critical equipment and strategic replacements
- Evaluates spare parts needs for production equipment and recommends stock levels
- Provides input for preventative maintenance plans
- Assists with the development of basic equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System
- Compiles and analyzes technical data for equipment and tooling
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Fundamental knowledge of mechanical systems, tooling concepts, and manufacturing processes
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and comfort learning shop-floor software
- Ability to work on a team, follow direction, and communicate technical information clearly
- 3+ years’ related work experience designing or supporting production equipment, tooling, or maintenance engineering
- Experience developing equipment/tooling concepts, workarounds, and configuration management of hardware/software
