About the role
- Leads and performs the identification, analysis, and documentation of requirements for network LAN technologies and services
- Works collaboratively with other stakeholders in focused, agile-inspired sprint teams
- Provides oversight and consultation of work intake processes
- Creates and documents designs that conform to architectural and security standards
- Prepares, deploys, and coordinates installation of complex implementation packages
- Provides Level 3 Incident/Problem Management support
- Supports and participates in component research
- Leads and performs implementation planning for tactical multi-technology insertion projects
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Cisco routers and switches & Cisco IOS implementations
- 3+ years of experience with Design, Implementation and Troubleshooting of Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN)
- 3+ years of experience utilizing Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) network protocols
- Ability to support after-hours change windows and implementations
- Willing to cover on call shifts, including weekends and after hours
- 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (preferred)
- Current CCNA, CCNP or other Cisco Certification (preferred)
- Experience with Arista networking (preferred)
- Experience with Azure, Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud (preferred)
- Experience with Cisco ISE (preferred)
- Experience with Zero Trust (preferred)
- Experience with MFA (preferred)
- Experience with Comply to Connect (preferred)
- Experience with NTP (preferred)
- Experience with Palo Alto next generation firewall systems and Panorama (preferred)
- Experience with IPSEC and GRE tunnel configurations (preferred)
- Experience with Splunk (preferred)
