About the role
- Develops and maintains engineering product definition
- Prepares design layouts and modifies existing designs
- Develops engineering product definition
- Develops statements of work, including design requirements, cost and schedule estimates
- Coordinates and develops work transfer packages
- Contributes to the integration of product definition across internal and external business partners to provide a functional end-product
- Investigates and resolves moderately-complex manufacturing process or engineering related issues
- Verifies accuracy of engineering data produced by others
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or higher
- 5+ years experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with CATIA V5
- 5+ years of CAD/CAM modeling in CATIA V5 and drafting of mechanical details and assemblies such as brackets, ducts or tubes
- 5+ years of interpreting and designing to GD&T standards (ASME Y14.5 for drawings and ASME Y14.41 for CAD/CAM models)
- 5+ years of experience creating and managing configuration through Product Lifecycle Management platforms
