About the role
- Work with other industry partners in the development and execution of a comprehensive assessment program supporting the C2BMC Element of the Ballistic Missile Defense System
- Evaluate systems under various scenarios and architectures to determine and/or optimize overall system mission performance in a framework giving insight into performance that may be employed by Missile Defense Agency and Warfighters
- Perform various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture
- Develop and maintain analysis tools of varied fidelity including modeling and simulation tools to predict performance against evolving threats of current and future missile defense systems
- Lead various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture
- Develop, maintain and identify improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science (Level 4)
- 9+ years of work-related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s or 7+ years of work-related engineering experience with a Master’s or 4+ years of work-related engineering experience with a PhD (Level 5)
- 14+ years of work-related engineering experience with a Bachelor’s or 12+ years of work-related engineering experience with a Master’s or 9+ years of work-related engineering experience with a PhD
- 3+ years of experience in system engineering (e.g. Systems, Design, Architecture, Integration, Requirements or Test)
- Understanding of System Engineering and iterative product development using Agile practices.
- Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills.
