About the role

  • Create AI/ML algorithms to power innovative tools and workflows, focusing on agentic capabilities
  • Embed AI/ML models into applications, build workflows, and ensure seamless performance
  • Build and implement systems from the ground up and write production-level code
  • Define processes and best practices for future team growth
  • Work with engineers, designers and solution leads to understand customer business needs and translate them into end-to-end solutions
  • Leverage AI for predictive analysis, automation, decision support, and operational optimization
  • Leverage LLMs for content generation, entity extraction, analysis and summarization of textual data, LLM orchestration, and agentic workflows
  • Wrap analytical models into deployable APIs
  • Collaborate with data engineering and software development teams to integrate data pipelines and deliver customer-facing applications

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience building AI/ML algorithms and solutions
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with ML frameworks like PyTorch and scikit-learn
  • Strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, and neural networks
  • Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP), traditional ML, and LLMs
  • Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques
  • Familiarity with GenAI concepts (RAG, agentic workflows, MCP, A2A, tool use, function calling, multi-modal systems)
  • Experience with MLOps, including monitoring and optimizing AI models for performance, scalability, and efficiency
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools (Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Skaffold)
  • Familiar with working in a consulting or agency environment on project-based work
  • Ability to take a project from conception to production-level customer deployment
  • Must meet local legal and compliance requirements; position open only to candidates based in Portugal (preferably Lisbon)
