About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients
  • Deliver integrated banking, investment, credit, lending, and holistic financial planning advice
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to craft and execute client solutions
  • Identify growth opportunities, cross-sell, and deepen existing client relationships
  • Drive complex acquisition strategies through partnerships with Retail, Commercial, and Capital Markets
  • Develop and execute regional business development strategies, sales targets, and sales results
  • Build internal and external networks and referral sources
  • Create business proposals, relationship plans, financial plans, and client reviews
  • Lead annual client reviews and produce client value and retention reports
  • Ensure timely execution of transactions and requests
  • Advise senior leaders on strategy and new initiatives
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on regulations, policies, wealth solutions, and products
  • Manage resources and lead strategic initiatives to achieve business and financial goals
  • Analyze strategic problems, data, and information to provide insights and recommendations
  • Monitor performance, address issues, and produce regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards
  • Build and lead change management plans and activities
  • Lead operational programs and adapt execution to ensure quality
  • Mentor junior team members and oversee tools and training implementation
  • Coordinate all aspects of clients’ financial needs as the central point of contact
  • Provide credit facilities, mortgages, liquidity strategies, investment portfolios, and wealth planning strategies
  • Collaborate with tax, trust, and insurance specialists
  • Ensure regulatory, legal, ethical, and risk-management compliance
  • Conduct regular reviews of progress toward financial objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • MBA certification preferred
  • Certified Financial Planner preferred
  • Experience dealing with HNW clients and equivalent knowledge base
  • Broad knowledge of all facets of wealth management
  • In-depth/expert knowledge of bank products, services, and capabilities
  • Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience, and industry knowledge
  • Advanced proficiency in strategic relationship management
