About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide support and service for BMO’s Investment Operations function and business stakeholders/customers
- Execute Investment product and service processes in compliance with financial and regulatory controls and operational guidelines
- Advise assigned business/groups on solution implementation
- Support strategic initiatives with internal and external stakeholders
- Respond to standard and non-standard inquiries from internal business partners and external customers
- Monitor and track performance and address issues
- Analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations
- Gather and format data into regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards
- Support change management execution and sustainment activities
- Deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service
- Resolve standard issues and escalate non-routine issues
- Provide problem-solving support to junior staff
- Contribute to continuous improvement of business processes and procedures
- Participate in planning, testing, and implementation of projects, products, services, and processes
- Process transactions and activities accurately and in compliance with regulatory and risk controls
- Check and reconcile information and documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Identify, analyze, and resolve issues or escalate as required
- Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Maintain stakeholder relationships and service delivery expectations
- Maintain understanding of regulatory requirements and operational risks
- Collaborate on new processes/systems and improvements to existing systems and processes
- Support development of tools and delivery of training

Requirements
What you’ll need- Typically 3–5 years of relevant experience
- Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
- In-depth knowledge and experience using relevant systems and technology
- In-depth knowledge of business unit products, services, processes, and controls
- In-depth knowledge of business risk and regulatory requirements
- Good prioritization skills
- In-depth customer service skills
- In-depth PC skills, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience
- In-depth verbal and written communication skills
- In-depth collaboration and team skills
- In-depth analytical and problem-solving skills
- In-depth influence skills
- Ability to apply risk management principles and comply with policies, laws, and regulations
