About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze and prepare credit information to support lending decisions for new and existing commercial banking loans and credit solutions within an assigned client portfolio
Deliver policy-compliant credit recommendations while leading projects and initiatives focused on enhancing credit quality, optimizing ROE, and maintaining exceptional client service across USCB
Minimize BMO’s risk exposure by adhering to internal credit policies and procedures
Independently perform/approve financial covenant compliance calculations and verify collateral margining
Lead and support project management initiatives in collaboration with LOBs, offshore partners, Risk/Control, and other stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

3 - 5 years of relevant experience in credit or lending or financial operations in a corporate or banking environment
Must have Commercial Banking experience
Must have experience with Compliance and financial, credit and risk analysis
Must have experience with borrowing base verification calculation
Bachelor's degree required; Business Administration, Finance and Accounting preferred
