Key responsibilities & impact

Support commercial lending teams through ongoing credit administration
Independently track, calculate, and assess covenant compliance and collateral margining
Identify potential credit deterioration and ensure adherence to loan agreement requirements
Apply working knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements to support credit analysis and underwriting
Demonstrate operational understanding of commercial loan agreements
Analyze financial information, tax returns, credit bureau reports, and related documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need

2 – 3 years of relevant experience in credit, lending or financial operations in a corporate or banking environment
BMO Credit Qualification within one-year of assignment
Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Finance and Accounting preferred
Specialized knowledge from education and/or business experience
Foundational level of proficiency: Problem Solving, Collaboration, Detail-Oriented, Customer Service, Data-driven decision making
Intermediate level of proficiency: Financial Analysis, Data analysis tools, Portfolio Management, Credit Risk Assessment, Microsoft Office
