About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides financial and investment planning and advice in collaboration with other team members
  • Determines client needs and provides solutions through the sales of managed products and services
  • Supports the achievement of sales and performance targets
  • Implements business development strategies to acquire new business
  • Identifies opportunities during customer conversations to generate referrals for personal and commercial banking products
  • Implements a relationship management plan
  • Develops solutions and makes recommendations based on an understanding of business strategy and stakeholder needs
  • Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues
  • Monitors and tracks performance and addresses any issues
  • Coaches and advises others on the team by conducting joint appointments and sharing product knowledge and sales tips

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically, between 4 -6 years of relevant experience
  • Post-secondary degree in related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • FINRA Series 6, 63 & 65 Licenses OR FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses
  • Life and Health Insurance Producer’s License
  • Completed LTC Continuing Education Requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of financial industry
  • In-depth experience working with managed products and providing fee-based advice
  • In-depth understanding of deposit and loan products and banking services
  • Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience
