Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develops and maintains business decision support strategies using analytical solutions
  • Supports the development of the strategy and roadmap for data quality, data analytics, data modeling, reporting, and business intelligence
  • Provides strategic input into business decisions as a trusted advisor
  • Makes recommendations to senior leaders on strategy and new initiatives
  • Acts as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations and policies

  • Recommends business priorities, advises on resource requirements and develops roadmap for strategic execution
  • Manages resources and leads the execution of strategic initiatives to deliver on business and financial goals
  • Ensures alignment between stakeholders
  • Represents the decision strategy function during internal/external regulatory audits and/or examinations
  • Develops and manages information management systems; designs and/or leads initiatives to improve processes, analysis and reporting
  • Coordinates management of databases; ensures alignment and integration of data in adherence with data governance standards
  • Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations
  • Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards
  • Leads change management programs of varying scope and type

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Typically 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Post-secondary degree in related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Product knowledge for the designated business / portfolio – Expert
  • Knowledge of decision strategy frameworks, analytics, and optimization techniques – Expert
  • Knowledge of decision systems, analytics platforms, and business rule engines – Expert
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements – Expert
