About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Understands customer needs and provides wealth and investment-related sales and service
Advises customers on wealth and investment strategies and products
Fulfills sales and service activities in accordance with approved procedures
Identifies and makes referrals to other business groups as needed
May make outbound calls to customers and proactively enhance customer experience
Stays abreast of consumer needs, industry trends, and regulatory environment
Provides quality sales and service for customer inquiries, issues, and requests
Achieves sales targets focusing on relevant investment products
Manages transactional outcomes or refers to internal business groups
Escalates complex situations to senior managers as required
Completes documentation after customer interactions to ensure requests are processed accurately
Maintains current knowledge of investment markets, practices, and trends
Integrates marketing promotions and programs into customer conversations
Adheres to regulatory and compliance requirements including reporting requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Typically between 2 - 3 years of relevant experience
Post-secondary degree in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge of competitive market place trends and product offerings
Knowledge of BMO Investment / BMO InvestorLine products and services
Completed Canadian Securities Course (CSC) / CIRO licensed as an Investment Representative preferred
Verbal & written communication skills - Good, English and Mandarin, Cantonese preferred
Organization skills - Good
Collaboration & team skills - Good
Analytical and problem solving skills - Good
