About the role
- Provides strategic project management leadership for a line of business (LOB) or function.
- Delivers strategically significant, complex, multi-year projects and programs,
- Builds a strong network and relationships with Executives to lead projects within a budget of $50MM.
- Develops and implements project plans including setting the vision, standards, operational and resource plans.
- Manages a team capable of delivering the required performance.
- Leads strategic initiatives focusing on horizontal alignment across functions to improve productivity, profitability, and customer experience.
- Manages usage of enterprise tools and templates, and develops tools specific to business needs.
Requirements
- University degree/college diploma and/or 12+ years of related work experience
- Expert knowledge and experience in project management
- Strong working knowledge of core BMO leadership competencies
- Demonstrates experience in building a project management structure and operations
- Expert ability to impact and influence project direction and outcomes
- Expert knowledge of organizational change management
