Supports the business/group leader in the effective implementation, maintenance and administration of first line of defense (1st LOD) programs
Contributes to a strong risk management culture through collaboration with other first line employees
Ensures alignment between values and behavior that fosters diversity and inclusion
Attracts, retains, and enables the career development of top talent
Makes recommendations to senior leaders on strategy and new initiatives
Prepares and briefs senior leaders on regulatory matters across multiple businesses/groups
Monitors and advises on management of risk requirements within the defined risk appetite
Supports the position on regulatory compliance issues by interpreting requirements
Acts as a subject matter expert in the evaluation, development and implementation of an internal control system

Typically 7+ years of relevant experience
Post-secondary degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
