About the role
- Act as a primary sales contact for clients, responding to product inquiries, pricing discussions, implementation timelines, and requirements.
- Partner with clients to gather required information and complete documentation necessary to advance sales opportunities through the approval and implementation process.
- Support pre-sales activities, including pitch preparation, client and industry research, and preparation of prospect and client materials for Sales Professional Planning.
- Develop a strong understanding of client needs, objectives, and desired outcomes to support effective solution design.
- Assist in the development of tailored solutions and recommendations aligned with client strategies and stakeholder requirements, including supporting implementation where required.
- Work with internal pricing models and tools to generate pricing analyses and recommendations in support of client proposals.
- Contribute to focused calling initiatives and pipeline management activities as needed.
- Provide materials and support to deliver a high-quality client experience throughout the sales and onboarding process.
- Identify, document, and escalate potential risk issues, and recommend workflow or administrative process improvements to enhance efficiency and client service.
- Perform additional duties as required, including industry and company-specific research and ad hoc projects in support of senior professionals.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate business/accounting/finance program graduating in December 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Must be bilingual in English and French.
- Proven track record of excellent academic standing, extracurricular participation and demonstrated interest in finance.
- Demonstrated leadership in extracurricular activities.
- Proficient in Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Detail oriented.
- Highly motivated, fast learning and able to work with limited supervision and adapt to frequent market, systems, and process changes.
- Outgoing and personable; team player able to work effectively in small groups.
- Knowledgeable in the principles of finance and the financial markets.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous banking or credit risk management experience preferred.
- You are a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or an individual who is legally authorized to work in Canada and will not require sponsorship in the future.
