About the role
- Develop and implement innovative category strategies for our entire portfolio
- Identify cost-saving opportunities with existing and new suppliers
- Identify and develop alternative sourcing channels — both domestic and international
- Conduct procurement market analyses and drive global sourcing initiatives
- Prepare for international negotiations and finalize contracts
- Maintain strategic supplier relationships and build a high-performing supplier network
- Participate in exciting worldwide purchasing projects
Requirements
- Degree in business administration or a technical field, or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in strategic procurement within an internationally operating industrial company
- Strong technical knowledge
- Strategic thinking, a structured working style, and consistent execution
- Willingness to travel occasionally to visit suppliers on-site and strengthen relationships
- Excellent German and English skills for international communication
