About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and work instructions
Use hand and power tools to fit, fasten and adjust parts with precision
Assemble mechanical systems including pneumatic systems and various conveyor assemblies as instructed
Maintain all 5S standards
Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies
Troubleshoot assembly issues and ensure compliance with quality standards
Collaborate with engineering, supervisors and other team members to meet production goals
Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition and report any issues promptly
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

A minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent)
2 years of experience in a mechanical or production environment
Must have own basic tools (English and Metric tool sets are recommended)
Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and assembly instructions
Basic knowledge of mechanical assemblies is required
Experience in industrial automation preferred
Basic computer skills required
Strong work ethic and good problem-solving skills
Ability to lift 50lbs
Good communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
