About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support data modeling tasks on multiple database technologies
- Design, deliver, and govern scalable data models across operational and analytical environments
- Translate business requirements into optimized structures, ensuring data quality and standards
- Establish, document, and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and modeling best practices
- Collaborate with data analysts, DBAs, architects, and engineers to align models with business needs
- Optimize data models for performance, scalability, and security
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Sciences related field or equivalent work experience
- 3 years of experience in data modeling, data analysis, database, or related role required
- Proven skill with database technologies and data modeling tools in use at BCBST is required
- Ability to quickly take complex technical subjects and distill them into user-friendly presentations and digital communications
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proven decision making and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical co-workers
