About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the onboarding and offboarding of network devices within monitoring platforms
Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and performance metrics
Partner with the Network Engineering team to optimize monitoring strategies and visibility
Support and enhance enterprise monitoring solutions
Certify multiple hardware platforms and the interrelationship/interoperability of different operating systems and complex environments
Provide technical leadership and responsibility for the installation and certification of all supporting software and hardware
Develop data architecture to support both the production system, and the backend data science and modeling tools
Recommends/designs structures and tools for systems which meet business needs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience with network device monitoring including availability and performance
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Experience with Broadcom NetOps and Splunk is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field or equivalent years of experience is required
5 years of experience in Information Technology required
1 year of experience in IT engineering in an enterprise environment

On-call rotation required; each rotation lasts approximately 2 weeks, and there are approximately 5 rotations per year
