About the role

  • Design and deliver strategic development solutions that build capability, foster growth, and support business transformation
  • Diagnose learning needs, create scalable programs, and partner with leaders to embed a culture of continuous improvement
  • Develop course curricula, supporting materials and programs for learning initiatives
  • Assist in determining learning needs and objectives for an organization's various employees
  • Ensure delivery of learning courses and programs through suitable methodologies, such as individual coaching and classroom training
  • Assist in evaluating employees' learning performance and related improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required (Equivalent = 4 years professional work experience in a corporate environment)
  • 4 years Training and development experience in a corporate environment required
  • 1 year Experience with employee / leadership development program design and delivery required
  • Incumbent must be willing to acquire appropriate certifications (PI, Myers Briggs, etc.) within 1 year of obtaining position
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment sharing responsibility, roles and accountability
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Must be a team player, be organized and have the ability to handle multiple projects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff and management
  • Classroom facilitation skills
  • Knowledge of learning needs assessments and analysis, training design, learning strategies and learning management technologies
