About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the management of assigned claims operation(s)
Ensure investigation and adjudication of claims meet performance standards and objectives
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with business partners
Responsible for the development of claims staff, vendors, and contractors
Complete requests for proposal, bids, and due diligence on potential new jurisdictions
Assist claims senior management team in achieving departmental and corporate strategies and goals

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree (or 4 years job related work experience / Associate's degree + 2 years job related work experience)
2 years of area related adjusting experience
Valid adjustor's license in required states or ability to acquire within 6 months
Analyzes laws, regulations and contract language
Evaluates issues and develops recommendations
Handles confidential and sensitive information
Investigates assigned claims
Proposes claims adjustments and refunds
Works claims caseloads
