About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Reconciles assigned general ledger accounts of routine to moderate complexity
Initiates and/or processes journal entries into various accounts
Performs reviews of various systems activities for Financial and/or Operational reporting
Prepares financial reports for analysis, forecasting, trending, budgeting
Performs analyses of financial data to identify problem areas
Prepares supporting reports/spreadsheets
Researches/completes account reconciliations
Resolves out of balance situations
Maintains documentation of work papers
Assists with audit preparation and/or review

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's in a job-related field with 24 semester hours in accounting
2 years of accounting experience
Knows fundamental accounting concepts, practices and procedures
Possesses good communication, organizational and analytical skills
Ability to work independently
Microsoft Office proficiency
Ability to use data retrieval applications
3 years of accounting experience preferred
Able to write queries using database software
