About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Managing Information Technology Infrastructure and/or Physical Infrastructure related projects.
  • Leveraging life-cycle and project management methodologies to tracking and reporting capital project scope, schedule, cost parameters.
  • Identify, track, mitigate and communicate risks and issues to support successful project delivery.
  • Measure program success, outcomes, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Support the management of projects and programs to enhance productivity and performance.
  • Develop and contribute to program reports, briefings, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with VHA leadership and cross-functional teams to align program goals with Veteran healthcare needs.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in project management, engineering, information technology, construction management, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience, including at least 5 years of experience managing schedules for projects/programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for producing reports and engaging stakeholders.
  • Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Web App, MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role.
