About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supporting the Integrated Healthcare Transformation initiative at the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Coordinating with development and user teams to assess risks, set goals, and ensure requirements are met throughout design and construction.
Identify and introduce new infrastructure while minimizing disruptions.
Managing technical aspects of large federal projects and providing expertise in network IT and MEP system designs.
Performing construction forensics and continuously addressing project risks and needs at every stage.
Measuring program success, outcomes, and performance improvement initiatives.
Supporting the management of projects and programs to enhance productivity and performance.
Developing and contributing to program reports, briefings, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborating with VHA leadership and cross-functional teams to align program goals with Veteran healthcare needs.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Engineering, Construction Management, Facility Architecture, Computer Science or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience, including experience in engineering, construction project/program management.
Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytical skills to evaluate and assess effectiveness of the operations.
Ability to manipulate data to present program status and make recommendations on improving business processes.
Background in clinical informatics and SAFe’s Lean Agile principles and practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for producing reports and engaging stakeholders.
MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
