Monitor and analyze electronic healthcare data exchange processes within the VA Payer EDI environment
Investigate transaction failures, batch processing errors, and system integration issues
Query backend databases using SQL to analyze transaction data and diagnose issues
Review system logs and operational reports to identify patterns or recurring failures
Perform root cause analysis and develop remediation recommendations
Support operational troubleshooting between VA systems and external provider networks
Collaborate with development teams and agile scrum teams to support issue resolution
Document findings and provide recommendations to improve system reliability and performance

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or related field
5–7 years of professional experience in systems analysis, IT operations, or data integration environments
Experience working in federal government contracting
Experience working with relational databases and writing SQL queries
Experience troubleshooting system integrations or data exchange environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to review system logs, transaction data, and operational reports to identify issues
Strong people skills
