About the role
- Prepare project financial statements
- Build and maintain project budgets and financial models
- Track project spend against approved budgets
- Monitor cost-to-complete forecasts
- Review and approve invoices related to assigned projects
- Manage change order financial analysis
- Prepare monthly project financial reports
- Analyze variances and identify risk exposure
- Support lender and investor reporting requirements
- Collaborate with EPC and Development teams to validate project financial assumptions
- Review contract terms for financial impact
- Track milestone payments and draw schedules
- Ensure alignment between financial models and executed contracts
- Ensure proper project-level accounting treatment
- Support audit requests related to assigned projects
- Maintain documentation and financial controls specific to project SPVs
Requirements
- CPA (active or in progress)
- 2–5 years of experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or capital projects
- Experience supporting utility-scale solar and/or energy storage projects preferred
- Strong understanding of project accounting, WIP accounting, and capitalized costs
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience working with project finance structures and SPVs preferred
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, execution-oriented environment
